On the wagon

Pretty much what it sounds like. Restaurants, dining, eating out (heh) ... you get the picture.

LOL, well I'll try anything once. If it sucks then I'll skip it in the future. Tried all sorts of weird shit, eel, octopus, squid, alligator...a veggie seems fairly tame to me, but I've never had 'em so what do I know?
Due to recent budget cuts and the rising cost of electricity, gas and oil, the light at the end of the tunnel has been turned off. We apologize for any in convenience.

IN one paragraph Rich said these words:

"If cooking something that requires ground beef, Carie and I use the veggie crumbles anyway and season the hell out of them. Can hardly tell the difference"..........."Basically, I'm still eating the things I enjoy ... guy stuff ... just less of it and/or low-fat, low-cal versions."

I find this disturbing and feel that Rich is seriously in need of a night with some guys....

Eh, take from it what you will, gaywad. But in taco salads or tacos, you can't really tell the difference, except it's less greasy. All of the protein, 1/3rd of the calories, none of the fat or grease. And doused in taco seasoning and salsa, it's really not that different ... not different enough to outweigh the benefits, anyway.

Then again, I usually do that stuff with grilled chicken anyway. Carie uses in her chili and baked spaghetti, and it's great in those. ::razz::

I save my calories/carbs for real beer. Sounds pretty manly to me.

Yeah. That's what I thought, pretty much. Something about what they did to them, though ... a few dashes of jalapeno tabasco on top and they were delicious.

Haven't had them since, but I've been craving them.

I will not speculate on the sexual orientation of my salads. I find it to be a fruitless pastime.

Besides, you're just wishing I'd toss your salad, homo. ::razz::

Rich if it's the Ryan's on South Parkway, they cook up some really good food at lunch, for a dirt-cheap price. (About $5 plus a drink, which is free if you get water.) I can't remember his name, but the guy who cooks for their weekday lunches is also the ice cream man for our end of town. Seems like a really good guy based on the few times we've chatted, and does a great job at both of his endeavors.

Actually, it's the one in Cullman, Don. But, I haven't seen the brussels sprouts on the bar since that day, oddly. :(

I have an immense respect for people like that who put their all into their job, no matter what it is. Especially if it involves cooking up some tasty vittles.

I've been on the Ridley beer diet for a few years now and the results have been amazing! See for yourself.
